We train kids to become the next generation innovators, problem solvers & entrepreneurs.
The Steamoji team is driven by a shared passion for empowering the next generation of builders, makers, inventors, and entrepreneurs. Comprising experienced educators, industry professionals, and innovators, our team is dedicated to nurturing creativity, technical skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit in children.
As parents of elementary age kids and with over 30 years of combined leadership experience in tech and healthcare, we believe in the power of education to unlock amazing opportunities. We saw gaps in the current education system and realized that children need more than traditional schooling to thrive. That’s why Steamoji started: to fill the gap in experiential STEM learning and foster a creative, problem-solving "maker mindset.
Our goal is to inspire and equip kids with the skills and mindset for future success. We’re opening multiple Steamoji maker academies across Eastside Seattle, partnering with local non-profits and offering scholarships to ensure accessibility for all children.
We’d love for you to be part of this exciting journey.

Hello aspiring Master Makers, my name is KnightChristine Conger and I'm thrilled to make your acquaintance! I hail from University Place, WA and have lived in Redmond for a few years now. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Art and Animation as an Alumni of DigiPen Institute of Technology right here in the heart of the city. I also have an Associates in Arts and Sciences from Tacoma Community College. I have always been fascinated by science and arts, and how to tie these mediums together to help build successful and empowering communities. Steamoji has been a dream come true for giving me the opportunity to embody this spirit!
Over my time at Steamoji, I have performed and flourished in every role we have to offer. I started as a Facilitator in Summer 2023, encouraging our campers and Apprentices to explore and be bold! I graduated to Lead Facilitator the following November, and have been involved in all operations ever since. I have had a fantastic time bringing Steamoji to our community through events and our Satellite Program at local schools, as well as Coaching for our VEXIQ Robotics Competition Club.
As of January 2025, I now spearhead operations as our Academy Manager, where I am ecstatic to continue building up Steamoji Redmond as the Flagship Hub that inspires the future generation of technology leaders. My vision for our children's future is that we have raised a generation with a forward thinking and progressive mindset, eager to solve problems and improve everything they see. The passion of being a Master Maker goes beyond just creating projects - it is a lifestyle in itself.
I have always strived to be the best version of myself I can be, regularly taking on new challenges and finding ways to innovate new solutions all along the way. I enjoy chewing on a tough problem asI am only ever satisfied when it's been fully resolved. My dad is the same way, and there's a saying we throw around in the family..."That was the worst fun I ever had. Let's do it again!
Speaking of family, that is what I value the most in my life. My late brother Thomas was my best friend in the world, and one of the greatest tinkerers I've ever known. He had a great passion for creating and building, and built his own drone from scratch as big as a table! He programmed it to be able to follow him with a remote GPS signal. If he walked forwards, it flew forwards. If he spun in a circle and walked backwards, the drone did too!
I come from a family of artists and tech guys who love to mess with machines and make their own solutions, so most of my hobbies revolve around creating art or enjoying it, whether it's traditional or digital pieces, books, movies, tv, and even some anime! The world has much to explore and be inspired by everywhere you look!
Now that you have been able to get to know me a bit, I would love the opportunity to meet you and your family!
Hello Steamoji families. My name is Alisa. You might not see me as I am usually working hard behind the scenes, but I am the marketing director of Steamoji Belred+. I am a big believer in Steamoji's mission as someone who struggled feeling like an outcast for being "too creative" in Engineering during my university time. I really wish someone taught me coding at a younger age instead of learning C++ in my first year of University. But at the same time, I also have experienced the significant importance of early exposure as someone who learned Graphic Design, Video Editing, Web Design and Web Dev in my early high school years - (skillsets I mainly use today for my marketing knowledge and skillsets that opened many doors to who I am today!)
I resonated a lot with Shara and Andy's great passion and personal mission to want to help more kids, which made me want to join the team.
I want more kids in the world to be exposed to more skillsets and fields at a young age so they can flourish effortlessly and find their true passion, mission, and goals in life. If you ever see anything related to Steamoji Belred+ on social media, that's me! We hope to be able to be part of your child's STEM/STEAM journey!
We are hiring!
We are always looking for talented, driven and passionate individuals who have the same mission to change as many children lives with the power of education and STEM.
